Meet Lauren Strand – Our New Sponsorship Secretary

Lauren has lived in Penrith most of her life and now calls Greystoke home, where she lives with her gorgeous black Labrador, Flynn.

Growing up in Cumbria, surrounded by agriculture and the fells, sparked Lauren’s passion for the farming community and led her to join Skelton YFC. During her time there, she served as Secretary for two years. Although she’s now out of the Young Farmers age range, Lauren was keen to stay involved in the agricultural community – so joining the Skelton Show committee felt like the perfect next step, and we’re absolutely delighted to have her on board!

Professionally, Lauren is a Property Manager at Davis & Bowring in Kendal. Her leadership skills don’t stop there either – she’s currently Vice Captain for Penrith Panthers, showing her managerial talents extend to the rugby pitch too.

Lauren says: “Skelton Show is my absolute favourite show of the year and it is always a day I enjoy thoroughly! I’m looking forward to making the most of my role as Sponsorship Secretary and really being able to make a difference.”
