Entertainment

Our 130th Anniversary Show promises to be another great day out for all the family!

Special attractions include:
The main ring promises thrilling entertainment throughout the day. The Scurry Racing returns – a crowd favourite known for its fast-paced action – alongside Thomas Longton and his Sheepdogs herding geese/ducks – will they all behave?!  The North Cumberland Foxhounds and the Cumbria Beagles will go through their paces plus the elegant Concours d’Elegance returns again as will the Fancy Dress on Horseback.

Outside the main ring, there will be many attractions including Circus Oz who will run a workshop (including a tight rope) for the children, the World Owl Trust will be on hand for you to meet your favourite owl and we are hosting the Under 18’s Championship in the Cumberland Westmorland Wrestling event.

We are also delighted to welcome Amy Bateman and part of her Forty Farms outdoor exhibition, giving you a chance to meet Amy and learn more about her project which captured the widest experiences of farming in a region that is known, recognised and loved internationally – our Cumbria!
